Lexington, Illinois (June 8, 2010) Jimmy took Friday, May 28th off to attend his graduation ceremony at Lexington High School, which he completed as a High Honors student. He was also recognized by the American Legion Post with the American Legion Citizenship Award for his Leadership, Patriotism, Honor and Scholarship in his community. He then traveled to Fairbury Speedway on Saturday, May 29th for a regular night of racing. Unfortunately, his night was cut short when the motor let go during hot laps.

With a fresh motor in the car, the next weekend was scheduled to be Kankakee Speedway on Friday June 4th and Fairbury Speedway on Saturday June 5th. Mother Nature had other plans for Friday and rain forced the show to be cancelled and rescheduled for Sunday June 6th. At Fairbury on Saturday Jimmy qualified 3rd and earned pole position of the lock 8 fast heat. After following Darren Friedman for the first few laps the motor started missing and Eric Smith found his way under Jimmy relegating him back to a 3rd place finish. Once again Mother Nature had other ideas and the races were cancelled before the features were run due to dangerous storms and tornadic activity in the area. Traveling back to Kankakee on Sunday Jimmy battled an unhealthy motor all night finishing a disappointing 8th place in the heat and pulling off the track before the feature was over.

The team has been working all week to locate the problem with the new motor and plans on racing Saturday June 12th at Fairbury Speedway.
